This
example shows a goaltender working with his coach in a dedicated
goalie room, but the drill can be done on normal ice just
as well.
The
basic concept is to go from one corner to another with low
shots and have the goalie working on his/her kick saves
from side to side.
In
this example video, the goalie is working on full slapshots,
which take a bit more time to shoot, but the drill can be
adjusted for faster snap or wristshots when needed.
This
is a great drill for quick feet and I like doing it especially
at the end of the last practice before a game and get the goalie
"pumped up!"
